My in law works at a Wal Mart and four buses of "victims" pull up and disgorge their cargo. You would think they would head for the clothing aisles and necessities. Think again: They proceed to attack the electronics and jewelery department. My mom in law says they were practically wiped out of their big screen TVs and all of ther digital cameras and the jewelery department was trashed. Man, it sure feels good to know our great government is here to take our money and ease these poor folks' pain.
The police were called when the "refugees" were getting adamant about wanting to buy guns with their newfound wealth.
I saw yesterday that FEMA is suspending the EBT fiasco.A bit too late, but if they didnt offer to do it in the first place, they would be racist I guess.

I'm sure that there are some people that would waste the new found cash away, but 4 busses sound fishy.
How can they find room to store of the big screen TVs on the busses loaded with people?
Where, were the employees & securities personnel when they trashed the store?
IMHO, I find your story unbelievable and is a vessel that spread ignorance and hate.
PS. Please provide the location of this Walmart in question and I'll call to confirm the story.
Here is a link to a story from a volunteer that discusses the people returning from their trip to Walmart and Target.
The only thing that said was they came back with small TVs, movies, and video games? No mention of "big screens and digital cameras".
I guess those of you without children don't understand how much a small TV, some movies, and some video games can brighten up a childs (or teens) day by keeping them busy and occupied while they continue to live hundreds of miles from home, without any idea of what is going to happen next.
Why didn't they buy clothes? Pretty simple...they already have clothes up the wazoo being donated. Not only through traditional channels, but Texas and other states already decided to donate tens of millions in seized "counterfeit" clothing to the effort.
Still waiting for
confirmed reports of big screens being bought by the dozens. I think I'll be waiting for a while (especially since busses won't hold dozens of big screen TVs).
