Guess what SUV I saw on the freeway today

An Saturn SUV. I got some pictures taken (while i was driving) at about 70MPh. Hope they come out good. I will give them to my mom to develop tommorow. It was a test car it had all the patched up black coverings, but there was also the suv that was not patched with the coverings. I got all of them. I also got a photo of the ford escape which was leading them. I saw them on the 134 coming from Pasadena towards Glendale, I shot the photographs and disappeared. One of the guys didnt expect me to dodge in and around to get the snaps.. infact he waved back at me on one snap.

That is as much of a bummer as seeing VW fall into the SUV trap. SUV's are a blemish and hazard on Highways.

Blah, SUVs.

By the way the worst SUV or a MPV I have seen on LA roads is teh Fiat Multiplia. Its horrid.. absolutly UGLY.

Sorry their sales methods are so geared towards women / gay men it's not even funny. Ugh. They are nauseating. I couldn't stand to listen to their crap about beoming part of the "Saturn family", having card's sent to my car on it's "birthday", and their "no pressure" sales (Translation: "Bend over so we can really screw you over" sales).

Grr. No thanks. Don't see how any self respecting straight male can put up with their sales process.

I saw an SUV Limo, imagine a stretched Explorer, about one and a half years ago. One of the funniest things I ever saw.

there is a stretch hummer, its about 5-6 car lengths long, which is for rental about 2 miles form my house. Pretty crazy. I told my gf that we would get that for our wedding =].

The funniest thing I ever saw was a stretched Lincon Navigator trying to do a 3 pointer (or a U turn) on a road with one lane on each side. This was at the peir at Marina Del Rey when I had gone boating with friends.

Edit: The car was almost as wide as teh width of the road.

I saw a super stretched F*rd Excursion....had 8 windows each side, super tineted, and 2.5-3 feet long :Q :Q :Q
I wonder what size I-Beams they used to prevent it from collapsing in the middle

SSP, then why the hell was it covered in plastic.

if its out then it should be open (atleast one was 2 others were covered).
By the way they were coming back from teh So.Cal Desert Proving Grounds (one was being towed on a flat bed and had the name of the place on it - it wasnt a towing company).

I see a lot of limos where I work, but the biggest I've seen was a stretch Expedition. The driver told me it was 38 ft long. Holds something like 26 or 28 people.

Why was it covered in black plastic? It was unveiled to the public months ago and was even on Saturn's website as early as Oct. of last year. It was also in MT and C&amp;D a few months back.

I even made a post here in OT on the SUV.

I don't know why its covered.. we'll see soo enough. As far as I know, Saturn is only releasing 1 SUV model this year.
