Linguini with white clam sauce

$6.25- Fresh Clams($12.5 at Costco for a 5 lb bag, used half)
$5.34- Chopped clams(3 x $1.28 per can at Wal-mart)
$.68- Linguini 1 lb.
$.50- portion of white cooking wine.
$.50- misc

$13.27- TOTAL

I got 3 FULL portions out of that.
You figure it cost around $18.00 at any restaurant that has it with FRESH CLAMS.
And it taste fantastic.

Oh and it took me about 25 mins to make that.
You have to be a linguini with white clam sauce fan to appreciate that.

i think i am in the mood for that

- I boiled some linguini first...about 12 mins.
- While I'm steaming up some clams.

- The saute some garlic, little bit of onions if you like.
- Here is the key, if you want the sauce to be thicker, stir in some flour now(skip this if you like it watery)
- Then pour in all in the juice from the fresh steam clams.
- Stir in the chopped clams also.
- Stir it real well to make the flour dissolves.

Last add in some:
- White wine.....add to taste
- Add in sugar, pepper....whatever how you want it to taste.

ENJOY....not much work at all.
I've cooked this for many friends and everyone have loved it(or maybe they are lying to me)
