It was a sting setup, you are lucky you didn't approach her.

🙂

Had problems with such setups? 😛
No... Why, did you hear differently? 😛

*looks up your police record*

"keep kids away from this sicko all" 😀

Remember man, always ask if this is some sort of sting cause they got to tell you 😛

It's only a concern in the US. Most other places kids should be fine in such a situration. What a shame.

I'm not sure it's more of a problem in the US than anywhere else, people just seem more worried now than they used to be.

You're partially right. It's not a bigger problem here, we are just more vigilant for our children. 🙂

It's probably too old for some of you, but watch a Little Rascals episode... No one gave a second thought back then to a lot of things that kids were allowed to do. 50 years ago, kids were given a gun for their 13th birthday. There weren't problems with them running around, shooting up friends on accident, killing classmates, etc. Instead, they'd go out with dad or grampa hunting for rabbits or squirrels or something.

Fast forward to today: leave an 11 year old home alone and someone can report you. And, at the same time, a 12 year old is allowed to babysit 2 year old babies.

True. My father used to take his gun to school when he was growing up in South Dakota. He left it in the corner of the room until class was over along with his classmates' guns. He would hunt pheasants on the way home to supplement the family food supply.
