Guacamelee

nope but thanks anyway

It's up to you, but you're missing out on one of the finest platformers I've played in a while. Some people aren't as into those things though.

It's has great Metroid influence (and some very obvious references, as well as to other games) and has a good sense of humor. The game looks and plays great on either the PS3 or Vita. I've only played a couple hours worth and the only critique I have so far is that it seems a bit too easy. We'll see if they introduce anything else going forward that makes me struggle at all, but thus far the combat has been pretty easy (but still pretty damn fun).

The fighting doesn't get that much more difficult except for maybe the challenge rooms and the last 2 bosses. If you can find them, though, there are some positively devilish platforming portions that are leading to/part of secret areas.

It's on PS+ as a cross buy for $11 so I might pick it up. Drink Box quickly is becoming my favourite indie studio.

I'm not all that into platformers that much. The thing that turns me off is the theme. It's just...I wanna say stupid but I don't mean to be insulting about it.

It's just not for me. I remember also playing Mark of the Ninja when everyone raved about it. I couldn't play it...just boring.
