GTX460 v2 and GTX460 SE v2?

On the Nvidia driver download page, they have selections in their drop-down menus for a "v2" variant of the GTX460 and 460SE. What are these? Does anyone know?

I noticed the 460 SE v2 for awhile but the standard 460 v2 is new.

Isn't commonplace during the life cycle of a video card product to start using cheaper components towards the end of the cycle? Maybe that's why there is a version 2? Only a guess but maybe someone has a better answer.

I was curious as I have a GTX 460SE but I didn't find anything meaningful about the V2. Are you looking to buy a GTX460?

Not sure if this will be helpful. My searches revealed:

Asus 1GB GTX460 675MHz / 3.6GHz
http://www.directcanada.com/product...X460%20DIRECTCU/2DI/1GD5&manufacture=ASUS

Asus 1GB GTX460 V2 775MHz / 4GHz

I know that different brands may have non "V2" models above 675/3.6 but there is also a distinct price diff between the two cards.

When you select either type, it ends up downloading the same exact driver file anyway doesnt it?
