The same percentage of people that should be looking at the GTX280 in the first place.

It's been a while since ATI's flagship has outperformed nVidia's by this much. As we've seen several times in the last few years, having 2 GPUs on the same card does not always guarantee a clear victory.

I think you mean 45% not 145%, thats 2.5 times as fast, and the graphs are nowhere near that, when averaged

I guess the games in which it gets beaten at are the ones in which it doesnt scale, but other than that it doubles the GTX performance quite a few times, nice to see

ATI's latest line has been impressive in almost every way. It's great to see some competition coming back.

The HD 2000 line was horrible, with the exception of a few lower / mid range.

The HD 3000 line was a substantial improvement, but not enough to retake the crown.

The HD 4000 line has not only put them back in the game, it's put them ahead in quite a few situations.

Just look around... how many signatures did you see boasting a "top-of-the-line" ATI card six months ago?

Yep, and this was touted the same exact way as the 9800GX2 was when released.

I just find it amusing that some people, before the 4000 series cards were released, said that they would laugh, taunt...rub it in their faces or whatever it was, about the 4000 series not even being able to come close to touching the GTX280.

My how things have turned out
