My EVGA gtx260 superclocked from newegg (199.99 shipped!) got here a few days ago, and I'm currently overclocking it to FTW speeds no problem (666core, 1407shader, 1107memory) and it runs nice and cool no artifacts or crashes. I'm just wondering if I could maybe clock it up a little more, to see what this baby can really do. What have you all been able to get it overclocked to, and still keep it stable and cool?

You should be able to go another 100MHz or so on the memory as that's its rated speed. Not sure its really necessary even, but you could probably go even higher.

I've found shader clocks to be pretty limited on my GTX 280. If I go over 1425 or so I start seeing minor artifacting with auto fan speeds. Its not worth it to me to crank up fan speed to get more on the shaders. I've read GTX 260s typically do a little bit better than 280s, so you may be able to push 700/1450 or more.

I'm going to give that a try. But I'm going to wait until Aug 5th, as Nvidia will be releasing a new WHQL driver with PhysX support. :)

713/1453/1296 here. Pretty solid overclock if you ask me; I get GTX 280 speeds for $225!

I get a GPU score of 6786 in high in 3dmark vantage.
