I purchased this card about a week ago and noticed my frame rates were lower than my previous card which was a HD3870. After formatting my pc, the problem still wouldn't go away. I just realized after running GPU-Z that my card is running at pci-e x1. I've tried flashing the BIOS, clearing the CMOS, re-seating the card, running at stock voltages and speed, nothing seems to work. However, my old x300 runs at pci-e x16 on this board. Has anyone else encountered this problem.

My specs:
C2D E6750 (currently at stock speed)
4GB DDR2 GSKILL
EVGA GTX 260 Core 216 Superclocked
Gigabyte P35-DS3R F13C
Rosewill 600W

I tried that, still doesn't work. I played around the PCI-E frequency as well, still no luck.

I had a similar problem. I have a GA-P35-DS3L and all I had to do was update the bios for my motherboard and it was working. Maybe give EVGA a call?

Alright I'll try calling them. I'm beginning to think it might be an issue with Gigabyte's P35 boards and this card.
I looked at your post, and I have the same issues you did (audio crackling when I scroll).

is there a chipset driver for your mobo?

I had simiar issue on my old agp board when it would only run at 2x agp speeds.

Alright the problem seems to be solved atleast for now. I removed the card and put it in my old Dell Dimension. It ran @ x16 there. After plugging it back here it's now running at x16. I hope it doesn't revert back though. I was able to overclock my CPU and memory as well. My 3dMark score jumped from 6800 to 14300.
