GTX 970 Strix OC DirectCU II / idle temps

I bought the ASUS StriX GTX 970 OC DirectCU II ( SLI soon ) i and want to ask you if the idle temps are not a bit too high.
Now i have 51 degrees, only Mozilla Firefox is opened.
I attache here more details about the card.
I use Windows 7 Ultimate x64, latest Nvidia driver - 347.88

Because the fan turns off at idle or even low loads this card idles a bit higher than others. I have the same card in a tiny ITX enclosure but with decent airflow and get similar idle temps (maybe a little lower).

I wouldn't worry about it.

Fan off = slightly higher idle, but no noise. Totally fine.

Put a side 120mm on your case if there is a slot for one,i have one and well my idle temps with 0% fan on my Strix 970 usually sit around 31-34cel. Got a fan curve set for 35 cel/45% fan and for the most part i'm not really hitting over 62cel depending on ambient temps and game load.

I have idle @ 38-40c. I would think the strix is more sensitive to case cooling, air flow than other cards, esp when the fan is off.
