totally agree. 13% voted $400 or less. I mean what kind of dream world are you guys living in?

I personally voted 450$,but even those 13% guys are right on their own logic.A 780 of $649 is only 16-20% faster(techspot review of gtx 780) than over a year old 400$ 7970 with 4 latest blockbuster games for free.So it's not bolt from blue that 13% voted 400$ or less.The whole pricing policy of nvidia is rubbish and they are getting away with it coz of **///

Well I bought one! But they're all in stock at newegg and tigerdirect? Not that I care about who's buying them, it's just silicon to me.

Newegg/Nvidia hard launched with 9 models at newegg and they are not all still in stock. It seems they had hundreds or more at launch. Newegg business showed 20+ for all models for a time. With a max of two(per sale). So there could be thousands, it's impossible to know. Other than the GK110 has been in production for almost a year, so plenty of time to grow 780 candidates.

At EVGA's home site, there are 4 version gtx780's available, 3 models are sold out.

I was mostly being facetious in response to his statement "the 780s are selling out faster than NVIDIA can make them" since they clearly aren't sold out - but you are correct, an item being in stock or out of stock isn't really indicative of whether it's a popular seller unless you have access to full sales data and quantities. The 690s were sold out instantly basically but then again, there was little stock at launch...it's hard to judge such things without having full data. 7990s were basically sold out instantly too but I highly suspect quantities were miniscule.

So pretty much, no one here knows what the hell is going on, but that won't stop anyone from trolling with grand statements about X/Y card selling or not selling. Then again, who cares really... It's just silicon, it shouldn't really bolster anyone's self-esteem to see X or Y card sell or not sell. Shrug.

Anyway, I personally bought a reference Asus model. I may actually not open the box at all and return it in favor of an aftermarket card, though, after seeing the GTX 780 WF3 benchmarks. Looks like a killer card.

Oh, okay. After seeing 20 posts trolling about how "poorly" the GTX 780 is selling in the reviews thread (which I don't agree with at ALL, by the way), I think the entire thing is ridiculous. But, if you feel it's a valid discussion point when nobody knows what the hell is going on, and nobody has complete data, more power to you.

This would be a valid discussion with concrete data. But with speculation on top of speculation, it's mostly worthless with people on both sides trolling about it.

Well I agree , we don't know. Other than there were a good amount of versions/models launched. Gigabyte, MSI, Galaxy, EVGA, Asus in USA, and more other places.

I own a bunch of Nvidia stock, so GTX 780 sell through directly impacts me. I also don't want to see the high end GPU market die for personal reasons, as I am an enthusiast.
