No need to post. Just Vote Above.

What is the maximum price you would pay for a GTX 780 3gb?

My watercooled 7970 hardly ever feels slow. Its already paid itself off within a month litecoin mining, so I have no reason to get nvidia.

I'm not in the market, so I will not be buying one, but I voted as if I was interested, what I'd be willing to pay at most, though I was figuring an aftermarket highly OC'ed version.

Can't really answer without knowing the performance, wattage, thermals, acoustics, and overclockability numbers. Also does it come with bundled games and if so, which ones?

Pricing on high end video cards has spiraled out of control in the past decade. Should be 'capped' at a reasonable price tag. AMD is the only thing keeping Nvidia's mid range under 500 dollars.

If I'm to upgrade my computer with a videocard I'm just going to add another gtx 670.

I'm waiting for numbers on CUDA performance.

I feel that cards should be priced according to where they line up in regards to the existing product stack. The trouble with that is that NVidia broke my theory with the Titan and 690 and what's most likely going to happen is we'll see an $800 card. I hope not but.....

My guess is 650 for the price I'm not in the market but anything more then that and they should have given it a cool name like titan and not try and sell it as a mainstream part

All this, plus my GTX 680 is still doing fine so I can wait, possibly until the GTX 880 or AMD 9970

If I was in the market for one, I would pay up to 600 USD for one.
Wouldn't interest me for anything over that though.

I would BIOS mod it on day 1 ofc.

Even if I had 1000 USD to use on the Titan I wouldn't have bought one.
It's just WAY too memory bandwidth limited for my taste.

780 hits the sweet spot of gains from overclocking because of the more relative headroom in memory bandwidth.

I screwed up my decision. I put $700 and I will not pay that.

You made 400$ in a month with a single 7970? Please explain. I looks at a few calculators last week and determine dot was not worth my time. But 400$ in a month? I need to know how.

He's probably talking about mining in the past, not mining in the present. Mining a while back was lucrative because coin prices were more than double today's prices and difficulty was also a lot lower.

It depends on if it is voltage unlocked and how well it performs/OCs. About 500-550 mb.

I'd love a 780, but my budget is 400 max.

Really looking forward to reviews. I'd like a game changer in graphics, something like crysis for its time to go against nvidias best.

As blastingcap stated, can't tell you how much I'd pay for it without knowing much if anything about the card. If performance falls exactly in between a 7907GHz and a Titan, then the most I would pay is $500-525. That is taking into account a premium for the semi-halo card.

Assuming the voltage can be adjusted just like the Titan, I'll buy one if they come in at 600 dollars. If they're more than that, not only will I not get one, but I will buy a 7970GE as a big FU to Nvidia. I'm buying a graphics card on May 23rd. Which one I get is totally up to Nvidia.

$550 is the most I'd pay for it. $500 for the card, the extra $50 for having the latest and greatest/there being no AMD equivalent at the time.
