yup, bought my 680 for $499 on release over a year ago now, and prices are still very much the same to this day

bought a 5850 when it first came out for $269, and then was witness to seeing its MSRP actually increase over the following months

early adoption some times pays off

I ordered a 680 before the reviews went up the moment they were available online, and by the time it got to me a couple days later people were buying them second hand for $100+ more than I paid. And like you said, a year later and they have maybe dropped $30

So GTX670 level of performance @ $300, GTX680 @ $400 and 90% of titan's performance for $600? Sounds good. If Titan LE drops at $600, the Titan would need a price drop to $800.

We already have 670 level performance for $300 and 680 level for $400 with the 7950 and 7970. If we only get the same performance for the same price that would be the biggest fail ever. Surely they will be higher performance than that.
