I want to be clear, I did have to RMA a card but it was one of the first gen EVGA GTX 670 SC cards that were part of the faulty batch. I had it replaced with a FTW model and all has been well since then.

It does seem that some of the early GTX 670 with factory overclocks has a higher failure rate than normal.

I bought a MSI 660ti PE and there was problem with booting the new system , no display. The PCB was curved , if that mattered .

New one is running fine now .

If there was a common issue, I am sure you could see it here.

Interesting, though not surprising that the higher grade cards (7970/580) have a higher fault rate than the mainstream cards.

But a vote like this will probably give the wrong results as those who had to RMA a card is more likely to vote than those who have a functioning card. And that is before anyone finds a good reason to sabotage the results.

I remember a few years ago seeing charts that showed video card failure rates anywhere from 2-10% depending on the GPU, model and vendor. I wonder what the stats would look like today.
