After reading some of the advice I got on here I've decided on the GTX680 card. But I'm undecided on whether to pay the extra for the 4GB version? I don't mind the cost here but not sure if I'm going to see much benefit.

I'm going to be running dual monitors on my PC (one for gaming and the other for work, browsing etc.) Both 24" monitors on 1920*1080 resolutions but possibly higher if the system copes with it. I'll be playing the latest games plus Skyrim quite a lot with mods so should I go for the 4GB version to ensure it copes with that, plus newer games in the near future or will the 2GB be enough anyway?

And do you see much framerate difference from the 2GB and 4GB versions of the card?

Thanks in advance.

Gaming on a single 1080p monitor?

2GB is more than enough.

1GB is enough for for a lot of games.
