He's using the 331.93 drivers from last year. Now SLI may have issues in BF4, but i'm not entirely sure why he's running benchmarks with a 6 month old driver, either.. It's really not a surprise that the scaling is off at xbitlabs given that they're using way old drivers.

Using the most recent driver, the scaling seems to be okay and in line with what it should be:

Although the 295X2 does seem to have slightly better frametimes than 780ti SLI by that same review.
