Hi,

I have two GTX 670 in SLI. My CPU is a I7 2600k at 4.2 ghz. For some reason Modern Warfare 3 graphic quality is very low. I have it set at my monitor resolution at 2560x1600 and it looks like it's playing at a low resolution. When I play Battle Field 3 the graphic quality is excellent. Is there a setting I need to change to improve the graphic quality in Modern Warfare 3? Thanks.

i think MW3 doesn't support CFX/Sli so disable it before playing and it should be fine . I run it maxed

Yes, the setting you need to change is the option of MW3 or BF3. Make sure that's set to BF3 at all times.

On another note, it's widely known that graphics CoD gives you are basically the same as they are on the console. Crap, in other words.

Video options -> Image quality -> change to "native", "extra" upscales console resolution to one that U selected, that's why it looks like... :)

Hi. Thank you for the reply. I do not have an image quality option in Modern Warfare 3. It just lists Resolution, Brightness, Color Blind Assist and Advance Video. The Advance Video option doesn't have an image quality option. Is there some place else I'm suppose to look? Thanks.

can you describe what your seeing?

Its not going to look as good as BF3 by a long shoot either way, but its far from terrible and definitly an improvement on the 360 version. (I own both)

Thanks for the reply. It looks like it's sort of blurry and playing at a lower resolution.

In the Advanced Video menu you should have these options:

Aspect Ratio
Anti-Aliasing
Screen Refresh Rate
Sync Every Frame
Shadows
Specular Map
Depth of Field
Screen Space Ambient Occlusions
Soften Smoke Edges
Bullet Impacts
Image Quality
Texture Resolution
Normal Map Resolution
Specular Map Resolution

You need to set the Image Quality to 'Native'

Mw3 on pc looks better then it does on console for sure but you really can't compare it to BF3 at all they are 2 totally different engines and the COD engine is bland to say the least. Make sure it is on native or it looks really blurry

Thanks for the responses. I don't see an image quality option in mw3. Maybe there's a patch is need to install. Which is weird the graphics looked great when a had a Samsung 26 inch monitor with 1920x1200 16:10 with 2x ati 5850 cards in crossfire. Thanks.
