Cool. Thanks I appreciate it. I waited too long to decide if it would fit in my case and then I found out it would and it was out of stock as well.

If you can't decide, it sounds to me like the $70-100 extra for the GTX670 don't seem obvious to you. Then if you lay off MSAA (which you'll have to do probably in BF3 anyway), GTX 660Ti Zotac AMP! for $290 after Rebate and $10 OFF with coupon code SAVEU10. I love this card's unique look since it's only 7.5 inches long, making it ideal for smaller cases.

Take the savings from not getting a GTX670 and put it aside into a savings account or envelope, w/e you want and use it for next generation or GTX800 series. That day you'll wake up with $70-100 saved and realize, wow now that GTX870 will only cost me $300 not $400. Nice!

If you want MSAA, get a used GTX670, but then you don't get Borderlands 2. If you like using MSAA, then sure get the 670, it's worth it in that case.

Go with the 670, 1080p with AA it already has a big lead in current games.. obviously more future proofing in future titles.

brandon888. I also have the ASRock z77 pro3. Are you kicking yourself that you didn't buy the Extreme 4? I am. I can't seem to overclock my CPU and GPU to high settings. I run my i5-2500k at 4.2MHz, and barely boost my 660Ti. If I go to 4.4MHz, while playing BF3, my system crashes.

I think the 670 is better cuz your MOBO doesn't overclock well. Although I play Skyrim and BF3 on Ultra and it looks fantastic. The 660Ti is, no doubt, the best bang for your buck on 1080p.

I bought the Pro3 thinking I could overclock some with it. I was unimpressed with the results. The 2500k can be pushed, safely, to a higher potential. As well, I overclocked the 660ti, but was only able to bump it up a small bit.

The 670 will be a solid non overclock performer. Nowadays, I feel like overclocking on new GPUs only gains 5-10% improvements in fps. So, I think you made a good choice.

@brandon888. Non-overclocked- 670 is much better.
In the future, I hope you and I learned that it is better to plan for overclocking, unless you buy an entry level GPU and have a crappy monitor. I think we can all agree that a 670 is at the top of mid range GPUs, so you'll love your 670.

You got a 670 coming? Dude, you're going to be totally happy with your games now. Congrats! This reminds me of my first ever video card purchase. It was a Voodoo 3 card and it was awesome watching games come to life. YAY!

I just bought the GTX 670 on Amazon for 349 after a10 coupon and a 20 mail in rebate. I also sold the game with it on ebay for 30 dollars. So in the end it cost almost the same as the 660 ti.

Yeah I was worried about the brand but the card got good reviews on newegg. It's a reference card so I don't know how much it can be over clock. It has that new gpu boost so I think that might be good enough. I been using it a lot the past few days without any issues. It's very quiet.
