Link isn't working for me.

N/M. I like how Newegg is jacking up the price 10-13% then giving you a 10% off discount. Jerks. Oh well, $500.00 isn't worth upgrading my 5870 for. I'll wait and see what the 6970 looks like. Hopefully it'll force prices down a bit.

D@mn that was fast! There are a number of models currently in-stock at *relatively* decent prices...

559$ to 589$... it costs abit that 580.

15-20% more performance than a 480 though.
a 480 costs about 429$ on newegg.

Newegg priced the cards $60-80 over MSRP because of their 10% off promo going on right now. %10 off $560 = $504. All of us cheapskates looking to get $50 off day 1 are out of luck.

yeah, very clever newegg. like a clothing store doubling all their prices then selling everything for 45% off!

evga already has an SC model out. they don't waste time.

I almost think this was planned. Newegg knew the 580s were soon for sale and they figured they could inflate the prices and still get MSRP while having a "sale". I do generally like Newegg, but they have been really bad at putting price premiums on products lately. Oh well, such is business.
