GTX 570 plus( GTX 260 physX)=Bsod

Hi guys
I have a zotac 570 plus a zotac 260 (for PhysX )
unistall my old driver and using driver sweeper in safe mod
then install my 570 on first pcIe slot and install my old 260 gtx on second pcIe slot .I dont install sli bridge
download lastest driver for gtx 570 but during installation driver got a BSOD

any idea is useful
my psu :tt 1200W

Perhaps try to take out the GTX 260, install the drivers for the 570, and then install the 260.

This sounds like a good idea. The driver's installer might be getting "confused" with both cards installed.

Only the very newest driver that was just released days ago will support the GTX 2xx series and a gtx570.

Well considering 260's have been supported with other cards forever, and the 570's have been out for a month now, I'm guessing any driver since the 570's release supports it, which was Jan 4th according to Nvidia site.

nope, the 570 release drivers were only for the 580 and 570. I know because i had this problem with my rig. I am running a 460 and 580 in the same rig. I Had to install 2 seperate drivers for them to work.... that is until the latest driver just came out a couple days ago, which supported all the cards

Hmmm strange. According to Nvidia's web site, it looks like the jan 4th ones should have worked.

I updated mobo bios and insalled lastest driver .now every thing is ok and in nv control panel i set my 260 gtx for physx process.but results isnt very good .my avrage fps in BBC2 is 60 with 16 x AA plus highest settings.
my cpu is i7 920 at stock clock i will crank it to 3.7 tommorow because i havent a decent cpu cooler yet.maybe my fps increase with faster cpu.
at the end thanks for your replys at anandtech forum and a huge shame on Nvidia's Bosses because i dont have permission to visit nvidia website and nvidia forum accurding to Colonial Policies .
Albeit they sucked because with a proxy change i can access to nvidia webpage.

Damn!!! I found another problems
1- gpu load for my 260 is 0 percent during games
i checked nv control panel and physx config was set to 260 gtx not auto select
2-gpu fan speed never goes beyond 60% in full gpu load for 570 gtx and max temp is 85 degrees Celsius

1. PhysX-supporting games, with HW PhysX turned on?
2. That's normal. Gte Afterburner or something and try setting it higher, if you want that. The GPUs are rated for in excess of 100C.

i just tested with bbc2 and metro 2033 .how to find these games support physx without accessing nvidia website?
2-did you mean msi Afterburner oc software? is it compatible whit zotac and other brands ?zotac also has firestorm oc tool but it has a ugly gui

solved. l changed pcie banwith from 8x-8x to 16x -1x in bios and now gpu load for 26o gtx is 50-90% in metro 2033.

Is there a site I can see how much adding a second card for physx improves performance? I have an 8800gts in my HTPC that currently isn't being used right now so I'm just wondering if it would even be worth it..

Yes. It works with most, if not all, modern nV cards. I use it for my Gigabyte. Usable features vary, of course.
