GTX 570 2560 - what to do with it?

A friend just gave me his extra 570 (he was using SLI). What should I do with it? Dedicated PhysX? Toss into an old machine?

That's a high end gpu at 520mm size, its actually bigger than a gtx1080.

Just kidding, I'd use it in a older core 2, or core 2 quad system.

Hey, it'll play Fallout 4 pretty well. It's not garbage.

Build a cheap gaming system with other spare parts you have and sell it if you don't need it for anything.
Or give it to a friend or family member who has something slower.
My kid with a 1GB GTX 750 would love an upgrade like that!

Yeah, it should be a bit better than a GTX 750 Ti and has enough VRAM to not be a complete cripple. Modest gaming box?

Son uses my old one in his gaming machine. It plays everything fine - sure not at ultra settings but not min settings either. Some people on this forum live in a bubble where they seem to think you can't game without the latest hardware but I bet a 570 is still faster then what most people have to game with.

Its still better than most IGP's so use it in an older pc if you have one, else give it to someone who are gaming on igp!
