Could someone post the bench numbers here, I cant get to the site.
this basically says "Free jump from 4MSAA to 8MSAA on the 470". look, no hit at all. that just seems weird.Crysis Warhead DX10 / 19x12 / Enthuusiast / 4xMSAA:
5870: 41.41 / 30.22 / 19.60 (Max / Avg / Min FPS)
GTX470 30.60 / 25.53 / 18.62
Same, but 8xMSAA:
5870: 37.87 / 23.44 / 4.96
GTX47 29.21 / 23.03 / 15.63

AMD claimed the same thing, but AT found that it didn't pan out. So I'm not sure I'd trust such claims from any party. This is one of the big improvements nvidia said they made:

Oh man.. those numbers are horrendous.
Edit: Well I misread maximum as average. So I guess 470 more or less matches 5870. It's still not what I hoped it to be.
Dont see this as a bad thing. This is the 2nd tier card competing with the top tier card from ATI.

Have to wait for accurate pricing information. Knowing the performance without the price it will sell at is completely worthless knowledge. Vice versa is true as well.
Doesn't matter if there's no cards to sell.
It's all but certain Nvidia isn't going to order any more A3 silicon and B1/2 is long months into the future.
I'm just going to wait for launch to see if the rumored manufacturing trouble with Fermi is true or not.
I was talking about the GTX 480 card, that card are you talking about?
If this is priced at the 5850 then it will be an awesome card. If this is priced at the 5870 then it will be a toss up.
