Such bull.
But do you think they could put 2 gpu's on one card?

yes there will certainly be a dual gpu part to compete with the 5970. it probably wont be released with the other cards though since its much more necessary to get the single gpu cards out. my guess is that the gtx380 will be about 20-25% faster than a 5870, a gtx360 will be 5-10% faster than a 5870, and then the gtx390, which will probably be two gtx360 gpus, will be about 10-15% faster than a 5970.I didn't know they announced a gtx380 x2 part? Did they?
the video is not of the actual gtx380 card you know? its just some fake crap on youtube. also that certainly looks like the gtx295 in the bare pics.Lack of power sufficient power regulation components, and memory is all on back with no evidence of where on the front? Someone with board knowledge look at that thing plz.

I'm more amused with the 2000fps in crysis.... That is quite the pixel pushing power...
The video shows a 6 pin and 8 pin power connector around the :23 mark. The pics I've seen on the single GPU Fermi look to have two 8 pin power connectors... so unless Nvidia managed to add another GPU, more PCB components, more ram, etc. and lower the power consumption, I'm going to guess this is fake (as others have pointed out).
not one single pic of Fermi has shown two 8 pin connectors being used. they have all been a 6 and 8 pin.The video shows a 6 pin and 8 pin power connector around the :23 mark. But can Nvidia do it? I guess we'll have to wait. 🙂 Rumors are all over the place for the single GPU Fermi powered part. If the ~225 watt rumor for a single Fermi GPU powered card turns out to be true, Nvidia will have to pull of some engineering magic to make it work I'd think. But that rumor being true is a big 'if' at this point.

Any shipping card would be 6+8. That's good for 300W, and there is no ATX standard above that. It's probably for pre-production evaluation purposes, just like the 5970 has the solder joints for 8+8.This looks like 2 8 pin connenctors to me, maybe I'm seeing things wrong? The picture isn't super high res, maybe I'm just not seeing it correctly...?

It looks like 2 8 pin connenctors to me, though.
*edit - Maybe that is a 6 pin, the more I look at it the less wide it is. But it looked like 4 sets of wires to me, but it could be one of those cables that relays a second connector... I'm not completely sure now, but it could very well be a 6 pin connector after all. My bad guys.
but that doesnt even have dual 8 pins in the first place. really I can clearly see that is a 6 and 8 pin.Any shipping card would be 6+8. That's good for 300W, and there is no ATX standard above that. I have a hard time telling from that specific shot myself. I'm just saying that even if it does, a production card would not be like that.but that doesnt even have dual 8 pins in the first place. really I can clearly see that is a 6 and 8 pin.
Time for an official thread with a stickie? Would make it much easier to keep up.
