GTX 260 and my power supply

The power supply is the one I have in my sig. I'm wondering if it's good enough to handle a GTX 260.

I've had some issues so far with the card. I had a 8800 GTS 512 that died and I got RMAed a GTX 260 instead. When I first installed it, my monitor couldn't find a signal. After a few reboots and messing around with wires, it worked. Today I was playing a game and the screen went black, so I shutdown the computer, played with wires a bit, and it booted fine, finding the signal.

So I'm wondering if the card could be faulty or maybe it's my power supply? Thanks.

EDIT: Forgot to add when I didn't have any video signal, the fan on the card wasn't spinning. I guess it's RMA huh?

played with what wires? sure you don't have a loose power connector or something?

i'll second that your PSU is fine. gtx260 draws about 15-16a, tops, you've got 40 as mentioned, minus other fairly negligible 12v draws (hard disks, fans, ect).

Meant those 6-pin connectors you plug in the card and in the power supply, forgot their name. I just switched them around, dont know if it really helped.
