Pretty sure I'm going to be getting the BenQ G2400WD (24") LCD as well. Was looking at the Dell 24" LCD, but the lag input is pretty high.

no .. not if you are using 512MB cards

apoppin, what would you recommend I go with? I'll be using the 24" BenQ LCD listed above.

If you are thinking of going for Crossfire either now or in the future, the P45 Chipset mobo is not a great choice as you would only be able to get PCIe x8 on crossfire mode as opposed to full x16 speed for both the cards. Instead go for x38 or x48 mobo.

Also, why go for lesser cards in crossfire when you are building a new PC? Go for a single better graphics card instead so you can have better upgrade in the future.

First of all, i hate to recommend

secondly, i believe you have a CF MB right? logically, a 4870/1GB would be ideal with an eventual pairing of another 4870/1GB, perhaps on sale later on

i really do not feel a single 4870 - or GT260 - is really enough for 19x12. Perhaps 2x4850/1GB would be OK.
as to p45 chipset; if you are set on it, make sure it is CF 16x+8x over 8+8 or get a x48 mb for the full 16x+16x.
