I started playing Anthem, via Origin.

The Computer, I personally built 4 years ago, running Anthem at the moment is:

MB - ASRock Z97 Pro4
RAM - 16GB
CPU - i5 4690k (not oc'd)
Cpu Cooler - Arctic Alpine 11 Plus
GPU - RX 470 4GB (MSI Gaming-X)
PSU - XFX- XTR 550Watt 80-plus Gold
Display - Vizio 39" E390i Smart TV (1920 X 1080 Max Resolution)

Will the new Nvidia GTX-1660 Ti be a worthy upgrade over my present RX-470 ?
A few months ago I had been considering an upgrade to a 1070, but it cost more then I wanted to spend.

Will my i5-4690k successfully run the GTX-1660 Ti ?

I'd rather not spend the money to build a completely new PC at this time, additionally I'd rather not spend much over $300 for this Anthem Upgrade.

The Games I play are:
Anthem
Star Wars Galaxies-Legends
Star Wars Old Republic
World of Warcraft
EVE
Elite Dangerous

Those are the main games I play, plus others but none as Graphic Intensive as Anthem.

Frostbite based games LOVE lots of available threads. Battlefield games can easily peg out 8 cores. The CPU seems like it was well worth it. The GPU wasn't that much of an upgrade for the cost, but if it makes you happy, then awesome :)

Yup. BFV likes cores for sure. I will say this though, for some reason Frostbite with BFV doesn't use 100% of CPU or GPU resources. There's a bottleneck somewhere that's annoying because it's keeping me from running higher frame rates. Last night my 2080TI never got above 70% utilization and my CPU cores were never anywhere near maxed.

In Athem it will full on murder my GPU with 100% utilization.

Could be a memory limitation someplace. Speed or capacity.

I'm running 16GB of 3600mhz 16-16-16-36 DDR4. I could have tighter timings but I have a hard time believing that's the bottleneck. Game is installed on a fairly fast NVME drive and I've turned off everything I can think of that would be running in the background. I'm pretty stumped. BFV is the only game I see that kind of behavior in. Everything else there's clearly some form of CPU/GPU bottleneck.
