GTS-V no video in Win2k

Since about a week ago, I get no video in win2k with my GTS-V. I get no video even selecting "VGA Mode" from the startup. Safe mode is the only way to get any video. I tried everything from uninstalling the adapter and monitor drivers to using different driver sets.
I deleted all files and registry entries related to my old Voodoo3 when I first installed it, so they should not be the cause.

It has been working fine for about 4 months prior to that. I know its a driver/software related problem since everything works fine dual booting into win98.

One odd thing I have noticed is that even if I delete the driver files, win2k somehow brings back the last set of WHQL drivers(21.83 for me)

Nevermind I figured it out myself. I deleted the .inf file for my monitor and letting it recognize it as a regular PnP monitor solved the problem. The only thing that puzzles me is why it took so long for this problem to show up.
