You mean it's about time Sony's fascist exclusivity contract allowed Rockstar to do it.Originally posted by: PeanutButter
About time they get their PC ports out in under a year or so.
What contract? It was released for the 360 the same time as the PS3. Why would Sony have a contract that would allow that?
He probably means in the old days when GTA was a exclusive and then a timed exclusive for the PS2.

WTF? San Andreas was released 4 years ago on the PS2... GTA III was released 7 years ago.
A year or two? What the hell are you talking about? Also, it's valid talking about the PS2 days as old days because it was a different time in general in gaming even if it wasn't too long ago, it was also a whole gen behind in consoles.

SA was released 3 years ago for the PC, that's hardly the old days, even if I undershot it with my guess. You a sony fanboy or just trolling?![]()

Saints Row 2 is looking like a nice alternative. Looks a little more humorous with funnier things to do.
I am happy to hear that GTA4 is making its way to PC tho cause i've played all the others on PC and I don't own a 360 or PS3 yet.
Developers pointing out the diffs between SR2 and GTA4

Nah, I don't even have a PS3, there's really no definition for "old days" for some people it might mean 70 years for others it might mean 4-5 years.
It depends on how changed the current days are and in this case I think the term applies because when SA was released the entire gaming scene (more importantly, the whole state of the GTA franchise) was different, we weren't even on the same gen.
I just feel it's ridiculous to argue with someone over their use of the term "old days", that's all.

This is the first modern GTA title not released under contract with Sony. Maybe if 3 years constitutes 25% of one's life, it may seem like a lot and qualify for the "old days"

Don't push the old days thing, it's really ridiculous.
