man that's some BS then. those shadows aren't even close to looking ralistic anyways, Crysis looks realistic. hitting P while playing mostly fixes it, but still, now it's all blurred the hell out -_-

FAIL.

At first I didn't really like the shadows either, but they are growing on me... I kinda diggem now.

I have found that putting AF at 16X sorta fixes it, but there's no reason a game should need that much AF just to make shadows a little more bearable. IF Rockstar says these are supposed to be realistic shadows, they are FULLA SHITT. no other game has shadows like these, and shadows do not look like this in real life. Crysis has the best shadows so far I have seen in any game.

Actually the whole graphics in this game are quite underwhelming, not only the shadows. I've noticed that there are places where textures are changing between high quality and very low quality, there is no AA in the game and that is very evident. And not only this, but it eats up at least 1 gb of Vram to render everything and it doesn't have a consistent frame rate. The engine of this game is a total failure, really.

Crysis actually does do shadows like that too, they just also have additional 3D shadows to go along with it

Soft scattered shadows is pretty normal for indirect light. Direct light causes defined shadows
