It makes a rather large difference in games that Nvidia gets their hands on tend to run like crap. Anyways why do you care what im caring about? I care about performance simple as that. There is nothing to debate here.

Any chance this game might be up for pre order perhaps in September for pc on steam? Release date is fall meaning as early as September 22nd i guess.

I would like to try this game out but it better not be an Origin DRMed piece of crap that the latest BFs have been. I don't even remember my Origin password and user name!

Well, in GT4 it was Rockstar Social Club and Games for Windows Live and whatnot. The whole thing took ages to load. Far Cry 3, for instance, is bliss compared to it.

Yeah, I remember GTA4. I loaded it on my Bro's computer with a second partition with XP SP3 since I heard SP3 caused Soundblaster drivers to stop working.

I bought GTA4 on release on the PC. After fighting all the logins, which were a horrible mess, it was basically an unplayable slideshow bugfest. I shelved it.

I picked it back up again for the first time a few months ago. Login issues with GWL gone, obviously. Fought to get the keys in place again. Finally got to actually play that game. It was fun! Let's hope there's a PC lesson learned... I will buy GTA 5, if I can play it within 4 years of purchase...

Even if GTA V does come out for PC, I am not buying it until it's $20 or less on Steam. By that time all the bugs will be fixed, all the glitches ironed out.

A bit of a disappointment and I guess the initial rush is over for me. Anyway it will be a fun game whenever I get to play it. Stoked for Far Cry 4 and hoping Lords of the Fallen isn't a dud.

Grand Theft Auto 5 gets November PS4 and Xbox One release date

But PC version delayed to January 2015. PS4 trailer released.

I really do despise the control the consoles have over the market... the consoles dictate EVERYTHING.

I really hope that extra 2 month delay is to further optimize the PC version, but in my heart I feel that is not the case.

Same here. If it was actually released in January, playable and decently optimized, I'd be stoked.

If not, better to wait another year for it to go on sale and a more optimized version.

Wow, PC gamers got shafted big time on this one. I wonder what their rationale was for delaying the PC version that much? I seriously doubt it was for optimization purposes..

I personally don't care about GTA V, as playing as criminals doesn't really interest me..

And game makers wonder why pc gamers feel little guilt in pirating games when they keep pulling crap like this.

What game are we talking about, again? Was there a game? For the PC?

Is this a troll post?

I'm pretty sure it is, yes. I'm trolling those of us, myself included, still delusional enough to track this thread and think Rockstar cares a tinker's damn about bringing GTAV to the PC.

PC should have been the lead. Think, the game came out on the last gen crapbox's. It was DESIGNED with crapbox limitations - the 256MB/512MB RAM, the creaky old GPU, the CPU etc. Now, is Rockstar really going to rejig the whole game and engine for modern hardware or will they just slap on some extra crap that tanks the FPS on a creaky old core.

Actually, don't answer that . . . . . . Dead Rising 3 doesn't even support 16:10 in 2014; Watch Dogs was (is) a failure, a number of AAA games have been pushed back time and again. There is no love for PC gamers anymore, exception being CD Projekt (even though Witcher 2 was seriously consolized) and maybe the team(s) beyond the Metro series.

It was few months back that Rockstar confirmed the GTA V PC version. I saw a thread on Neogaf and watched the trailer, the outro gave the final confirmation.
