GTA: San Andreas Problem

This is a wierd problem. The graphics are fine except for the people. All people no matter if they are walking around our in cars, including CJ are a solid color. This even occurs on the cut scenes. The solid color (like a silhouette) will change from white to shades of blue depending on the lighting.

I have updated to the latest ATI Catalyst drives, disabled overdrive and VPU recover. I tried changing the graphics resolution and other advanced settings but it has no effect.

I have an ATI X800XT PE video card, 1 GB of RAM, Athlon 64 3400 processor.

Hope someone has insight into this!

Reinstall the game? Are there any patches?

Failing that, play a better game.

Few exist

Try running Driver Cleaner and reinstalling the latest cats maybe? Failing that, you could try the omegas.

Uninstall Hot Coffee.

Hot coffee isn't installed, there are no patches available.

Where do I get driver cleaner from? From further research I found out that the Omega drivers don't fix this issue either and there are many people with the same issue. I found a few possible workarounds so will be trying those out.

Just google driver cleaner (I think latest version is 3.0), and follow the directions and do a clean install of your video drivers.

I have a simular problem with my daughters computer ATI 9200 128 MB video card the poeple are invisable most of the time.
