GTA: San Andreas - It's an ok game.

I loved the beginning. You are a gangstar and you came back to Los Santos and started building up your gang from it's ruins since you left it.

That's pretty cool. Then you get involved in a nice gang war. Which is far from the point of the story. The thing is that I loved when it was headed this way. But then it just went back to you being a hitman like in all the other games. Just that the theme is now different. So technically, it's the same as all the other GTA's.

It's getting boring. I have to save my brother. What a motivation. I'm just a hitman in the middle of crap. People want my services. Most of the missions have nothing to do with the story itself. They are just fillers. Then there are the really crappy submissions which might as well not have been included.

I haven't beat it yet. I'm in Las Venturas and hoping that the game ends soon so I can move on with my life.

What did you guys think of it?

I liked it but I agree that later on I almost didn't care anymore.. I thought the whole Los Santos section of the game is by far the best part with all the "gangsta" stuff..etc.

I quickly became bored with it and quit after getting frustrated with the bugs.

It's still a nice game, but my interest in new games (and gaming in general) just doesn't seem to last very long anymore.

I never really liked any of the GTAs.. although I always end up picking them up 😱. I have both GTA 3 and Vice City.. I never played through them because its just too boring. Maybe when San Andreas hits the bargain bin like Vice City and GTA 3 did, I'll pick it up.

I skipped out on Vice City (except for playing around on the motorcycles for a few minutes), so San Andreas had some fairly new things for me. It was a pretty fun game, especially the first half or so.

But once you've opened up the entire city, it starts getting a little dull. I was two missions away from beating the game, but got rid of it instead because I found a great trade-in deal at EB. Overall, I'd recommend it to anyone (of age) the day that it hits $20 on PC/Xbox.
