It's starting to piss me off, I'm doing the training mission where you have to bank around then land, I've done it in like 117 seconds, just shy of 2 minutes, yet only got 67% and I need 70% continue. Ridiculous how hard they made it, and the thing is so sensitive that the smallest touch sends it off course, and I can't do any other missions until I master this crap.

On the other hand, while I continue to ignore those training missions, the government guy keeps calling and threatening me, telling me how he put my brother in a cell with a new cellmate who's going to slam 8km worth of meat into my brother.

That's why I got the XBOX version. I researched it and found out the plane flying is a nightmare on the PC. Get a gamepad....it'll go VERY easy.

Hmmm im able to fly just fine.
Its like jerking, you gotta be firm handed but soft at the same time.

You need to have the right touch. Use your thumb in a circular pattern....slow...then FAST!

I have a gamepad, gonna try with that. After practicing for like an hour I managed to barely pass the plane missions, only to have to go through crappy helicoptor ones, in which the camera lags horribly and makes it hard to aim :(

Oh good grief, first $50 for the game, now I'm going to have to spend more for a flight stick or go dig out the Logitech flight stick from the closet. Wonder if XP even works with serial port joysticks. *sigh*

I'm stuck at either doing the stupid dancing thing or the mission where you kill all the russian guys then jump on a motorcycle and kill a bunch more chasing. I always get killed after that truck comes down in the ravine.:disgust:

So far the hardest mission ive came acrost is the low riders bounce athon. after 4 tries i got it. :)

Took me 4 tries just to figure out where the controls were for it, once I did it was a snap. I beat the dancing one easy too, just use WASD on that one, all about timing.

I've gotten past all that stuff, just past the San Fiero/Red County bunch too, starting on the new flying missions. The stats claim I'm only 60% through or something like that though :(
