Will/would you continue playing GTA: San Andreas even if you can't pass some of the missions?

I'm struggling with some of the missions, and am becoming a little discouraged. Are there many options for missions, or do you need to complete one before being allowed to go on with the next and continue with the story?

Does anyone know of a site with codes to help you through some of the harder missions (PM?)?

Thanks!

I thought I was stuck on the one with the russians chasing me but I just went out and honed my shooting skills and eventually got through it. Same with the sound van one where you have to do that dance thing. I didn't think I would ever get past that one until I figured out I was using the wrong keys. Once I figured that out it was simple. I just keep plugging away at them until I get past them.

Heh, I used the wrong keys for the longest time on that one, too. :p Good for you for persevering... I guess I'm a little too impatient, but when I try too many times and fail missions it just isn't as fun anymore and I started to get stressed/unhappy. :(

That's when you use the cheat code for the tank and go cause mass destruction. ;) It is AIWPRTON IIRC.

I play missions over and over and over until I pass them, unless there's something else to do nearby. I typically save near the mission spawn point, and I don't like extraneous saving. I've found that this is frustrating occasionally, but it seems to train the required skills and optimize mission execution.

If I get frustrated, I get my Harrier and fly around blowing stuff up. Once I got the hang of it, flying in either Vice City or San Andreas is pretty therapeutic.

P.S. If you're playing on a PS2, an S-Video cable is huge. The difference is like playing with glaucoma. I think it could make a huge difference on Zero's first mission (with the mini-gun) and seeing the little planes.

I didn't have any problems with any of the shooting missions in San Andreas. My FPS skillzzz made shooting with the mouse and head shots incredibly easy.

Very fun game. Much better than Vice City imo.

I'm at 71% of completion now, without cheats! And I'm gonna try to hit 100% though all of those stupid shells, graffiti, and photo spots are annoying to find.

that's what cheats are for... if i have 20 games and little time to play, i'll load up cheats just like that to finish them faster.

no point in using cheats however, if you don't have fun to begin with.

Half the fun of the GTA games is completing the missions by outsmarting everyone.

Killing off certain people before hand, blocking in certain cars or torching certain cars... etc etc.

If one thing doesn't work, try a new strategy.

who de fvck cares about the missions anyway?!
I only play GTA just for the fun of beating, shooting, running over and basickly killing anything I can, and then run like hell from the police (killing a few more while doing so).

As long as you can kill, the game never ends.
That's almost as good as Postal 2, where killing innocent people for no reason what so ever, is main objective of the game.
These games are like therapy... MUHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHArararararahahahaha
