GTA 5 Help.

I got GTA 5 yesterday and I cant figure out the online gameplay.
Now I thought It wasnt up till october but I have read articles about

1. Someone giving there friend a Nice car (then do to a bug the car was lost in the garage)
2. Stock exchange and needing to be connected online.

So how do I do these kind of things and anything else I may need to know. I looked online but I cant find anything Its very frustarting.
 
You cannot play Online until October 1.

That said the Bawsaq stock exchange is online. It changes globally. For example, if a stock goes up it will go up in the game for every person playing, even single player. Rockstar hosts the stocks online. The other stock exchange is only in your game. When ity goes up or down it only affects your single player game.

Giving your friend a car was referring to in game friends. The characters Franklin, Michael, and Trevor can exchange vehicles if you go to where they are and take it. For example...Use Franklin later in the game and buy a Los Santos Customs garage and you can get free upgrades. Upgrade a car and drive it over to where Trevor is at and you can switch to Trevor and get in the car Franklin left.

BAWSAQ isn't completely online. Some of them are still game specific, but others are effected by the real online market. Stocks like Ammu-nation and such are effected by players purchasing guns and ammo as well as robbing the place.

Places like Fruit are effected only by your in game actions, however you still have to be online to access the BAWSAQ market.
