GTA 5 gameplay

Got some questions -

I want a supercar. Do I have to buy one or is there some way to "acquire" them without paying the price?

Can I have more than one "personal vehicle"? I have a garage (the one that came with Richards Majestic apartment) but its unclear to me whether or not I can have more than 1 personal vehicle.

Is there any quicker ways to make cash (other than doing the jobs)?

You can rob stores for some quick cash, the other stuff I don't know but in the beginning you only get one personal car, someone might be able to tell us if the higher your level if you can get another one.
 
I feel like I am missing something big when playing this game online. I dont know. Like I join, I see a bunch of people running around, and I feel like they are all coordinated and know what they are doing, and Im just like trying to catch up with them all the time. Im struggling to find my place and wtf im supposed to really be doing. I guess thats because I am playing it solo and most people are playing it with their friends? It makes me feel like when I was a little kid trying to keep up with my older brother and his friends lol.. its kind fecking sad as a 30 year old.

I felt the same. My friend and I used to play together but our schedules don't always match up. After not making any money I think we both stopped. Although now they offered the stimulus package.
 
You gotta go into the blue areas and/or text people to join their missions.
You can start a mission by going into a blue area and others will join your group.
 
I don't understand why almost every time I click Auto-Invite and Play on a mission it just says "Inviting Players" ... .... ..... .... .... ... ...

I can leave it for hours (have done so) and come back and its still stuck. yet i dont have any problems finding tons of games in Halo 4 Call of Duty whatever....

Is this game seriously so broken? I know tons of people are playing and im simply trying to host a Criminal Records race... so much time I waste on GTA Online waiting and waiting and waiting ugh... never experienced anything like this before

Some people won't join just because they don't want to play that mission. I had that issue in the beginning. It's by choice where as in cod you select a game mode and everyone gets auto placed in the Que. In gta, you can choose to do whatever missions you want so if it's not a popular one or people are already a level higher then they won't join you.

I finished a couple of days ago. Overall very impressed with the game. Started a second run through last night now that I know what to do to make a shit load of money early in the game that will help me buy everything. My only peeve is that there really is nothing to do once you finish the main story line. I was hoping for random missions to do with all three characters but thats basically it. Hopefully there will be some good DLC.

Two months in, and I have to say, this is one of the best singleplayer games I have ever played, bar none. And, literally, without reservation, the worst multiplayer game I've ever played. There is not one single redeeming factor I've found in GTA 5's multiplayer. It's like Godfather 2 releasing a directors cut where you watch Fredo spend 3 hours on the toilet and die of a heart attack. I'd rather get eaten to death by gerbils than spend another second in this game's multiplayer mode. I hate it more than I hate Nazis. I'd rather watch 35 seasons of Dads. $500,000 isn't enough to stay with this game if they gave you real money. I hate the online portion of this game more than I've hated any game ever. This game SUCKS. It's a war crime. I hate the people who designed it. I hate the people who are friends with the people who designed it. Everything about it should be launched into space, blown up, fetched from space, launched into space again and set on fire. I hate it so much I vomited in my mouth 8 times writing the last few sentences. This game's mutliplayer needs to be shouted from the rooftops for decades , so that game designers are reminded what not to do.

This game's multiplayer is cancer. It is the worst thing in gaming history, and it should die a quick death and never be mentioned again for the good of the industry.

I just finished the story mode on this game. Kind of a bland ending but very good single player campaign. If I had just done all the main missions first, I could have finished it much quicker. But since I did a lot of side quests, I had nothing but story missions left.

Them some pretty strong words of which I'm sure many will disagree.

I'm not saying it's not bad, but it's FAR from the worst.

The above all being said, I have had no problem with multiplayer, mainly because I waited a month before attempting it (should be pretty common knowledge for ANY launch) and only play with friends/known groups of people (again, pretty standard).
 
lol @ people bashing online versions of a game within weeks of a launch.

Or maybe I'm just used to it because that's pretty much how every PC title launch goes.
 
I'm a little surprised at how upset people are over multiplayer. Is that really why you bought GTA?

I had a very solid singleplayer experience, I got my money out of that. I had no interest in playing online, but I didn't feel like rockstar "sold" the game for its online play.


None of you must've bought simcity. I mean seriously, just simple singleplayer was hugely problematic for months.
