Do things like the stunt jump missions transfer from character to character?

Benches function exactly like telephone poles. Also, I've seen poles hit by cars going fast. They don't exactly stand strong and not give an inch. I've also seen poles designed to stop 4-5 ton trucks from entering an area (and trucks going 50 mph hitting them).
Benches are like that? I don't recall ever hitting a bench, I'll have to check that out. When I first saw the trailer of the armored car slamming through the cement wall on its side and concrete particles flew all over the place, I was excited for the physics engines. I was disappointed that not much has changed. Maybe next gen, but I want to ram through buildings and such 🙂

light poles, street signs, and fire hydrants are weightless. You can get out of the car and kick them down the street...
Agree. I am still pissed about the submarine mission when I threw away $20M because I'm scared of the heat, despite stealing multiple fighter jets. And having to spend $2M on a mission for a cargo helicopter when I already stole one in an earlier mission is simply bad story writing. There's no excuse for it.Overall, I thought the story was incredibly stupid. The FIB stuff made so little sense. Oh, you have to rob a bank to buy a helicopter rather than just steal ANOTHER helicopter. And the fact that you don't just kill the guys blackmailing Michael into doing this is rather stupid. The "Oh, they'll be taking a closer look at us if you kill him" makes no sense when you're robbing military convoys, government buildings, banks, and blowing up all kinds of nonsense.
There are not enough heists to really make it matter anyway. Let's be honest the heists are too easy anyway. The gun fights are pretty easy to get done first stab. There should have been a way to set up your own heists. There is no point in most of the members leveling up. If you pick the cheap, garbage member with the hopes of leveling them up so they can be good for cheap; they just die on the mission AND you lose their cut to their family.
I bet it will be, but it always has been I'm afraid. I never play a game of any kind for long after finishing main story. I just find it becomes immediately utterly pointless, whether it's Skyrim or GTA.The world, especially after you do all the missions, is pretty bland.
I'm not done the game yet. I give it a 9/10. It's an excellent game, and I've put a lot of hours into it so far but with:
1) Garages not working properly at all
2) Stock market not working properly
3) Thoroughly uninteresting story
4) Weird other glitches or "deliberate decisions", such as:
a) upgrading brakes in a car from stock to top of the line only moving the braking bar by about four pixels
b) Franklin able to hold far less ammunition than Michael despite being way more built (I know strength can be developed, but I spent no time doing it on any character)
c) If cops are looking for me but do not actually know where I am I've often found they seem to magically congregate on foot to my location, even though radar claims they don't know where I am
d) if another car taps me even lightly I fall over and then take about 30 minutes to get the hell off the ground. This is very annoying.
e) Holy hell, why can't these idiots run up and down stairs? I can run up and down stairs way faster and I'm not even in a video game.
The game overall is superb, but it was definitely given a date and, come hell or high water, it was going to meet it. So it did, but it fell a bit short in some ways. The garage thing I really just cannot forgive it on this. Garages are an essential point of GTA games and they do not work in this one for a shit. I really would have loved to drive around in a fully decked out Challenger with red-smoking tires--all things I can do--except I can't, because then if I hit a freaks and geeks mission or something the thing can disappear and not even show at impound.
To respond to the bolded part, I read that increased shooting skill is what gives higher ammo capacity. Cause I have max strength on Franklin but not Michael and Michael has max shooting and Franklen is way down. Franklin can't hold as much ammo.

you're never going to burn through that much ammo in a firefight unless you're going full 5-star rampage mode and attempting to take on an entire city.
what's the deal with the car damage in this game? I freaking roll over a giant hill and my rooftop is PRISTINE! lol
I've still only blown up 1 or 2 cars in this game, and that's just because the cops shot it too much. 9/10 cars I steal I have to ditch long before they get even close to blowing up because they get jammed wheels. Cars used to blow up all the time in GTAIV.

True enough, but I feel that if I put 60 well aimed rounds into a police helicopter it should probably give up the ghost, and yet they don't. It is tricky taking out even helicopters without a rocket launcher.Cars don't really blow up in real life either though, so I am okay with that. They are much more likely to get a mechanical failure before exploding. My only complaint is that having a flat tire doesn't really effect some vehicles. On a mission, I had to steal a supply convoy and in the gun fight that ensued while hijacking it, one of it's tires were shot. I drove back on the rim with no problems.
BettaPharm topped out at only +53% for me 🙁

Bah. Now they are saying online will go live sometime after 7AM tomorrow, or when a console update will happen.
😡
How is online been in the past? I've finished the story line and gotten rather bored with it. I'm thinking of dumping it while it has some value unless the online portion has some real value to it.
