So when do you start making money? I'm about 22% complete now and still am on Trevor. I think I have one more Trevor mission before I can play as Franklin and Michael again. Seems like the side missions don't give a lot of money and the bounty hunter missions are a pain in the ass to find.

I had a glitch the other day when I opened Franklin's garage and had two copies of his default car in there, one stacked on top of the other. So maybe my garage is where everyone else's disappearing cars end up. 😛

A bit later you end up making more money. You really only make good money on the heist missions. You're left trying to use the stock market to make real money.

Oh ok well it can be hard with the stock market, especially trying to evade police while you damage competitor products.

When you get Lester's assassination missions do not do them. Wait u til you finish the last heist. Then invest in the company you sabotage once the stock tanks using all the cash you have on all 3 characters. After a few days time in game the stock will rise. You can get over 100% profits. With the last heist you end up with a lot of money so you can maximize these missions.

You have to do the first one I believe. I tried to wait and Franklin actually said "I have to do something for Lester before we do this" on one of the missions (the last heist planning I believe). But, after the first, don't do any more of them.

The lifeinvader one is integral to the story I believe if that's what you mean. The stock also never comes back up from what I have seen.

I dunno about latter ones. Didn't do them yet.

Yeah I bought stock in them for no reason haha.

I edited my post a bit cause I think he was referring to one later on that I didn't do yet. I have been doing activities and all the side missions while collecting the fighter jet, attack chopper, and various cars.

Did every bounty mission and am trying to recruit every crew member if I can.

Eventually, later on the in the main story, you have to do Franklin's first Lester assassination mission to advance it. So, you can't save all of them until the end. (But, you have a bit of money at that time; at least, you should if you haven't spent it).

I already have a couple million on each character. I am not buying properties right away. I don't see a point unless it gives me hanger or garage space.

Well you can buy property with hope on return in investment. I'll try and steal a fighter jet soon, I haven't gotten to the airbase yet.

The properties are annoying. I bought the smoke shop as Franklin as I thought it would generate a nice return. But every week they have someone hijack the truck or the driver gets sick, and when I go to the marked area to bail them out, the mission disappears and I get a text saying "well, guess we're gonna be dry for a while." It's utterly worthless.

You can buy a hanger at the airport and a helicopter pad near by. I've already purchased the hanger, but haven't stored a jet there yet. I might pick up the heli pad and buy one of those attack choppers from the internet. It might be easier to use that to destroy the planes (only because I steal the jet each time) and they only cost $2 million, so I'd make a ton more than that even if I lost it.

I already own one of each.

Getting a fighter is not hard if you enter from the south east entrance by the bridge that crosses a river. Rush through the guard entrance in a fast car, take first left, and once around that building into the main section to the north east are hangers and a fighter out front. If you go fast you can park and steal it before security catches up. There is also an attack chopper but I haven't tried it. I was able to lose 5 stars in fighter by going along the edge of the map.

I have no problem stealing the jet, just takes a lot longer than spending the 2 million to buy the chopper and have it right next to where I'm going. >_>

If attacking airport to lower stock prices are the two airlines on a seesaw, in which case a person should attack only one at a time, or can both be brought down simultaneously?

I stole my first armored money truck yesterday, blew off the back doors and it was empty... can you get any money from these in 5?

A guy I drove to the airport told me to buy a lot of 'Tinkle' stock, and the game says 'sometimes you will meet people that will give you tips on the stock market'... but 'Tinkle' doesn't exist. Don't get this. Maybe on the second stock exchange that isn't available to me yet?

Tinkle exists on the BAWSAQ I think.

Yeah you can get money. The driver drops it if you get to him before he enters or you blow open the doors. It isn't a lot of money though, think I saw 5,000 or so once.

BAWSAQ is available if you're logged in online I believe. There might be a certain mission you have to get past though, I am not entirely sure about that.

Yeah, it is around $5-6k. The driver will have a case you can pick up if you get them loading / unloading the truck.
