Its the book avatar i tell ya, ditch it man, join club nuclear. Also yeah your right windows 7 has few problems considering its beta state and most things that work in vista work in windows 7. I had to ditch windows 7 and go back to vista but that was due to media foundation pipeline crap in WMP12, everything i installed worked fine. Windows 7 is basically windows vista+.

Actually, I don't hate Windows 7, nor do I hate Vista. Neither Vista nor Windows 7 are that difficult to use if you're not, as you put it, a "tard".

Why should he not expect that something released in the past month to support the OS that will be in major use in the next few years? Because that OS hasn't been released yet. Companies aren't going to invest valuable resources to make something work on what is currently a moving target. Work in IT for a few years and then come back to me with your opinions, 'k?

Save your comments about me being a douche - it'll take more than someone who just signed up to the forums to make me change my mind about something I've got years of experience doing.

Cry... :|

Just use vista or SP3. There is a damn good reason why it won't work, and that is because it is not made for Windows 7. The installer automatically says, "Not going to install" if you use anything but Windows XP SP3 or Vista SP1.

EVE wasn't made for Windows 7, yet here I am playing it.

Some will... some won't. The point is, if it's not designed for Windows 7, there's a chance it's not gonna work.

Fail, the majority of games that won't install on W7 won't install because setup.exe (or w/e) tells you your OS isn't compatible because it isn't on the list, when in fact, W7 is nearly 100% backwards compatible with vista.

Wow, way to help out there Trey. I found this fourm cuz i had the same problem installing.
It's good thing you're "IT'S NOT GONNA WORK 7 IS BETA BLAH BLAH BLAH" didn't stop people who are actually helpful from pitching in.

Now I'm off and playing GTA 4 on my BETA OS.

And apparently working in IT for too long makes you bitter and hateful... hmmm... Think I'll quit now before I turn in to someone like Trey...
