GTA 3 texture problems

Damn this game is fun as hell and it runs great at 1280X960 32 bit color on my system. Only problem is that i can see texture errors, like lines not being filled in all the way and texture seems occasionally. Is this just the game itself or is it my computer, btw i have tried messin with the direct 3d settings with textel origin and it doesnt seem to help. and no i'm not ocing, vsync is enabled, etc etc. please only post replies that would be relevant to the issue, not things like "are u sure you installed dx 8.1"

I saw these while I was tweaking my setup. I don't recall seeing texture seams in the PS2 version. They became less noticeable if I enabled 2x fsaa, even more-so with quincunx, I assume 4x would be better yet. However the root of the problem are the triangle edges not lining up, and is an artifact of the games engine AFAIK.

With all the other graphic anomalies(blocky models, clipping errors, texture shimmering, and frequent slowdowns) I don't notice this one as much. The other day 2 pedestrians walked straight through each other, so I'm not holding it up to very high standards anymore.

I am running it at the same settings and it does suffer from some texture cracking on my GF3ti200 (especially during high-speed driving). I t found it looked a lot better with AA enabled, but it was unplayably slow. One of these days I will try running at a lower res with AA (say, 800x600) to see if it helps.

I notice the texture problems but overall it's no big deal, but I maybe I just drive too fast .;)
