In the game gran turismo you can buy cars, beef them up and what not but as the series has gone on ever since the first one there have been cars that you could REALLY beef up. One example is the GTO (Mitsubishi) where you could bring it up to 900HP and another one the Supra where you could bring it up to 900HP as well and I was wondering, is it *really posssible to do that to one of those cars? I don't think it's possible but it is a racing sim..
 
I always see on car mag covers "1000HP SUPER SUPRA!".

There was a 800+hp Vette on ebay a while ago.

It is totally possible.
 
Having that much power in the game is useless if you're in longer races. The tire wear is horrendous.
 
Actually won the 150Lap race with my supra that's @900HP and with my Mitsubishi Evo @558HP which actually won the formula 1 car.

I've also won the Spefcial stage route 11 and mistral 78 with the mitsubish evo and the supra (supra I think).
