Roughly 30% ... though I got MANY more golds in the license tests, heh. I see you are the "great it's done" type.

LOL, once I get a score that's good enough to pass, that's good enough for me. :p

C'mon, nobody else plays this game?

You playing the game using the standard PS2 controller or a nice wheel, such as the Logitech Driving Force Pro? I started using the logitech wheel, much easier to last those endurance races. Can't wait til GT4 comes out to fully use the features of the wheel.

There'll be a new wheel out for GT4. I understand it rotates as much as wheel in a real car; unless that wheel is already out and I'm just behind the times.

I'm using a standard PS2 controller. I tried the wheel, but I don't really have a place to mount it.

I think I'm at 22%, but only bought it 2 weekends ago. The Beginner series sucked. No money for a good car, and sh!tty prize cars. Now that I've got a car that can actually perform (New Beetle RSI), it's getting to be alot more fun.

I haven't found a car yet in GT2 or GT3 that sounds as good as the New Beetle RSI. A fully tuned Camaro SS in GT2 comes close.

What is everyone's license status? I try to get at least Silver on every trial. I had full gold licenses on GT2 in B, A, and Int. B (if memory serves me), and most gold in the other trials.

I've been at 51.5% for over 2 years now. That's a hard game to just jump back into.

Actually, it's the Logitech Driving Force Pro (I just bought one last week) and it rocks. Prolly the best consumer wheel/pedal controller you can buy. I do miss my Logitech Momo Force with it's leather wheel, aluminum paddles and pedals but the 900degree (2.5 turns lock-to-lock) is very cool. The pedal travel and sensitivity is much better than my old Momo and the main reason why I bought it... even though GT5 isn't out... it works with PC games!! CMR4, NFS:U, GTR Racing 2002, F1 2002... works with all of them since it's recognized as a regular Driving Force by Windows.

GT3 or ANY driving game for that matter is just flat out better with a wheel. There are quite a few games for PC that are pretty much unplayable without a wheel... especially the F1 games.

Those endurance races can be really tiring, especially since one screw-up is all it takes to lose a LOT of ground.

Once I got the Escudo though, and started using that on lower-end races, it got a lot easier :p

All I have left to do are the time trials and the endurance races. I have the S license. I don't remember my percentage though... haven't played it in a while. I doubt I'll ever do the endurance races though. They take so frickin long.

Heh, I never completed those endurance races in one sitting. I usually just play 15-20 minutes and then continue them later.

Freejack2, I dont think so.

I'm at like 52%. I completed 1 endurance race and gave up on the others. Sometimes i play it just to race around or try to drift.

<- another 'great it's done" type.

am i the only one who wishes for more than 6 AI cars? :(

it gets incredibly boring with only 6 cars... and the handicap sucks. :frown:

AI cars? do you mean F1?

the 'handicap' isn't that bad as long as you're not screeching your tires around every corner, and there's a workaround the oil problem.

no... i mean you're only racing against 5 cars... my mistake... :p

as for the handicap... well... i dont like how i'm banging perfect laps and the lead doesn't exactly grow as you would expect it to... other than the endurance races... but i would really like at least 18 cars on the grid... that would be coooool... :)
