GT 6600 antialiasing problem

I have a Leadtek GT6600 video card. Every time I run certain direct x 9 games I get
Green sometimes pink triangles antialiasing on some objects.

If I run Earth 2160 with antialiasing I get lots of these triangles randomly going across the screen. As soon as I turn antialiasing off it looks fine I get no graphics corruption.

When Far cry is run with antialiasing on I get green bits flying around the screen as well.

It doesn?t happen all the time just sometimes. I have measured temps, changed antialiasing settings drivers res etc. and its always interment. I have tried only using on hard disk no optical drives, and I still get an issue.

My system is:
AMD 3500+
4 x 512mb ddr 400
Asus A8n-sli
Leadtek gt6600 PCIe
Creative SB live
Antec true power 550 w PSU
3 x Seagate sata HDDS

Can any one help me?

Sounds like the problem I used to have because my Leadtek 6600 GT would artifact when the game started to get pretty insane with AA on. Buy an Arctic Cooling NV Silencer 6 Rev. 2, it'll lower your temps. significantly as I went from 77 degrees load to about 55 degrees.

I installed the Arctic Cooling NV Silencer 6 Rev. 2 and my temps have gone up.
I think my card is F**ked. My idle temp is now 56 deg C.

Is it possible the North bridge chip set would cause a similar issue?

Also being one of those people that if I had a bad experience with one brand ill never touch them again. I think I?ll go gain ward or XFX for my next video card.

Syborfical, here is my Christmas present to you: Lower your core frequency by 10-15 MHz and you won't believe in your eyes.

Unfortunatelly, it seems that Leadtek is using not so good cores... Believe me, I have replaced this card twice in the last 5 months I own it, just because the guys in Leadtek were telling me that it is a problem of the card and that I should get a replacement. Well, after 2 replacements I'm sick and tired of their promises. I think that their are trapped in their marketing promise of 550MHz core and they aren't allowed to say anything else.
Btw, if you REALLY want to see artifacts, play Half Life's Lost Coast and go inside the monastery at the top of the hill. You'll not believe in your eyes (IF you are able to see anything after 2-3 minutes of playing).

One last thing: Don't get bothered with the temp: I'm running mine for hours with its temp at about 85 degrees Celcius (this is what you get if you play Far Cry at almost full specs) and I have no problem at all.

Merry Cristmas :)

Have you applied enough thermal paste to the card? Also is the backplate tightened enough so it applies enough pressure? What are your clocks?
