Yeah, I was about to add that.

But anyways, a dual quad core should be able to score 7000.

:cookie:

5.5GHz != 2.66Ghz.

Fail

See previous post for intel claims.

Edit:

If you don't get it... what she has as a CPU score is feasible and would bet to be accurate. Especially if intel could only do 6481 at 3.2Ghz.

And like I'm saying for the third time booga, Intel scales better than nVidia, of course the scores are going to be higher.

But 12K is more than double of 5200, which is what the original screenshot shows. Plus, things never scale perfectly, so 5200 is still on the low side.

Anyways, there still about 3 or 4 other things that are wrong with the screenshot, minus what we've talked about already.

12k is on an Intel board and with liquid nitrogen or dry ice, I forget which they used, with QX9775s on a suicide run.

and the processor has twice as much cache(when comparing it to a q6700) and probably a few more architectural changes...

Just stop trying to compare overclocked newer processors to a stock older processor its not even going to be close even if bother were at stock.

5200 is doable on an overclocked (but still running on air) quad core. And why does Tulip say it's a Q6600 if the screenshot shows it as a 2.67 Ghz model?

i thought tulip said it was a dual chip intel/nvidia mobo based on 780i or something. Whatever there is soooooo much FUD here to sift through that it gives me a headache, if this is real or fake, its alpha and almost 10 months away from release anyway.

Im sure the estimates of breaking 20K 3dmark on 1 card will be true when gt200 goes retail at that time.

If I had the cash, I wouldn't hesitate jumping on some $229 8800GTS's for SLI right now and pairing them with the modded drivers and doing some serious overclocking. This will run someone $460 and bash anything out there besides a 4gpu ati, or 3 gpu nvidia setup. 4 gpu ati and 3 or 4 gpu nvidia rigs will run you over 800-900 bucks on video parts alone. someone with 8800gts sli, or someone about to get that is sitting pretty fat right now. All you need to do is increase the vGPU, run the modded g94 drivers, and overclock them and they are practically top-notch 9800 series cards.

IMO that won't get officially slaughtered until you see RV770 or GT200. And even then, i bet it beats a single card version of rv770 or gt200.

the reason that this lga 775 was chosen instead of the Nehalem intel processer is that the Nehalem is a even larger processer with a even huger TDP tough we were about to ready a proto sli chipset to support Nehalem cpu but intel is not cooperative they did not let the team even see the make up of their specs. of Nehalem m/b so its hard water on the Nehalem side. As for the LGA 775 we allready have the experiance and tools to make a decent Nehalem like performer for cheap and with a smaller shell. SLI will be partly supporte on the new intel Nehalem m/b.

This is also a early development i was told that the south bridge from cpa a to cpu b is not working properly and errors that formulate have to be corrected bringing the score down a bit. SB is the only major problem besides the overall system heat and resistor flux problem.

The overall heat generated was after an hour of Unix nbench under Unix.

Each Alpha card has a string coded if i did not red them out the serial would be seen and the lab subunit it is taken from would be found and my BF shot, well the whole subunit team may be shot...!! I have explained about this in posts i made befour.

I can tell you xfx is also about to release some new gameing hardware a wireless reworked joystick and a stick controller with vib. and a rubberish trim.

Well everyone seems to think your screenshots & posts are false, I'm sorry to say that I am with them until you can provide further proof.

The stunt i pulled yesterday was carelesss and stupid i can still get a red tag on my bio data, but do not worry i made been approached by a china tech tab. they say if i give them the info i will get pain on top of which my identity will be safe. I am considering them till the response from fudzilla comes back. that is.

well keep us updated. Perhaps create two posts. Label one of them "Tulipgtx geforce 9 speculation including screenshots" and the other, "Tulipgtx Fud Central"

keep most of your posts geared towards specualtion with links & screenshots for proof. Details are always a plus as well. Every other post you make can go into the latter topic.

A bot searching tech sites for codenames, tech terms, etc would scramble the words better & wiser to form a paragraph of text better than you did now.

Especially the last paragraph makes no sense at all, technically.

Just stop it.

Now did they say PAID or PAIN? cause with china it can be both...

well after lurjing in the forums for a week I decided to join. So I'm new here obviously but for what it's worth alot of this stuff seems like it could be legit, and some of it seems bogus. and that screenshot was definately done 1280x1024 res. no question, but either way thats a fair amount of 3dmarks for everything at stock. I guess we'll see when this stuff is actually put on the market until then no one really knows.
