This fight would sell like hotcakes but would end in 1 round. GSP has been knocked out by welterweights before. He is not used to the power and speed of a MW who can outstruck some LHWs. GSP would be slaughtered.

Sure, Chael outwrestled the shit out of Anderson but Chael is a much larger frame. GSP is definitely the best wrestler in MMA, but size does matter and Anderson would find a way to win.

By the way, this opinion is coming from a GSP and Anderson Silva hater, but I give them their props they are definitely the most skilled in their weight classes.
 
Silva would prance around like a fairy till he caught GSP with a punch. Or GSP would be patient and nothing would ever happen. Would be boring fight.
 
If after clearing out the 170 div, and if GSP took enough time to do it right to be a true 185lb I could see him beating Silva. Hell, I'd favor him in this situation. Because if Silva can't "catch" him ala Serra, I don't see him controlling or doing damage to GSP on the ground.
 
Vitor definitely has the potental to beat Anderson. It's all about the mental. For the first time, I agree with WataGump.
