ah, I haven't watched MNF in a while. Kornheiser annoyed me bad. Also I think of Thiesman ranting about the days of his sucky QBing along with that kicker guy.

I'm a Phil Simms fan myself, smart dude. I think Gannon is a lot like him but he is much newer than Simms.
 
I don't know how well Gruden will do but I'm glad that Kornheiser is gone. His voice is grating.

This, though I expect Gruden to be back in coaching eventually, so this might be as temporary as Kornheiser turned out to be.

Huh. Didn't realize Kornheiser's fear of flying was that bad that he'd quit MNF as a result. Like him better on PTI though anyway.
 
Kornheiser, while good on PTI (that's the show he's on, right??) is absolutely awful as a commentator. Who knew he'd suck so bad? You'd think he'd be a shoe-in considering he a) knows his stuff and b) is comfortable on TV.
 
Thank God. Jaws is very good. Tirico is tolerable, although he talks way too much, and it seems like he wants to be both the play-by-play guy and the color analyst.
 
That guy was annoying as hell. He turned the entire commentary into arguments over things that nobody gave a shit about.. like 'Does Brett Farve still deserve respect from fans in Green Bay' or something like that.
 
Eh... who cares? Monday Night Football hasn't had a decent game in a while. The only time I've really watched MNF since they've moved to ESPN was when the Cowboys played. All the good primetime games are on Sunday Night Football lately. MNF, sadly, has almost become an afterthought.

Exactly. I just don't care a whole lot about MNF anymore, Sunday night football is great.

i love Kornheiser on PTI, but he was horrific on MNF. i believe he said on PTI a few times he really didn't like doing MNF...
