Comrades,
I'm running a machine with three hard drives, the booting managed by System Commander. After successfully installing Red Hat 7.3 on the third drive, I'm able successfully to reach sdc1 with /boot as mount point and Grub installed. Once Grub's OS menu appears and times down to default, it hangs with message: Error 28, "Item can't fit into memory" or some such. Reinstalling with Lilo in place of Grub in /boot, things start perfectly well, the Linux/DOS menu appears and times down to default, reads "Loading linux" and stalls with the cursor blinking on and off. Why won't this thing follow through with its sequence? Any thoughts.
