GRRRR @ The HDD

So i ran out of hard drive space and decided to go and buy myself a new one...nothing special just an 80GB maxtor. Problems at first with no post..solved that, all the priorities (master/slave) were wrong so now i got a post and everything is fine up until windows. I cant get it to show up anywhere...its recognised in Device Manager but not in explorer (Its unformatted, was hoping to format in windows but i cant find it....any ideas?

If you are running xp, you must format first. Go to Control Panel/Administrative Tools/Computer Management/Storage/Disk Management. From there you can format and after that you will see it in explorer.
