I hope he doesn't vote. Idiots that age usually vote for democrats.

QFT!

"oh, but the government should give all the money to the poor", "oh, but the rich don't pay any taxes", "oh, woe is me.....I'm being held back by the evil corporations", "just think of people without healthcare (sucking off the healthcare of their parents)."

"why can't we all just live in a forest and be happy forever? That would be great."

Yep, quality voters there I tell ya.:disgust:
Stupidity is not restricted to younger people. ;)
Stupidity may be found more often in the older population. The younger people suffer perhaps more from ignorance and naivety.

that's actually... a good idea!

*edit* a draft would be bad. but it would be a great way to get young people to vote and/or riot

Thats kinda sad, I voted twice at the age of 18, once for the democratic primary, and second in the general election, for president and congressman (no senator was up that year). I fully intend to vote next year in one of the primaries (dunno which yet), and the general election where I will vote for Senator Lamar Alexander and Congressman Zach Wamp (assuming they both decide to run - they are currently the incuments), and will vote in the general election as well. Now, I know full well that voting for a democrat for president in tennesse is useless (unless its Al Gore, but I don't think he'll run, and if he does i',m voting republican), but the person I voted for in the democratic primary last time (Wesley Clark) was also pretty hopeless at that point, and John Kerry was also not gonna win Tennesse, but so what I voted for both of them anyways.

Although I have voted in every election or vote I have been eligible for, I do feel that my vote is worthless. It is worthless.

Meh, it's not a problem when he's 18, it's a problem when he's 50 and a respected member of society.
