The buyer pays shipping plus extra on it as everyone else does to cover some more but in either case $50 profit per is still easy from what I see on the sites.

On gaming stuff I think they take 9 percent of the sale plus PayPal transaction fees. And any other extras like a 3 day auction versus standard auction ect.

I probably coulda got it and put it up for sale here and bypass all the eBay fees. Unfortunately I had no way to hide the purchase from my wife :-/

You really have to laugh at Newegg pricing. They still figure the 970 is worth $300 dollars in some cases. (and I'm talking Newegg, not some nutter butter 3rd party seller on newegg) Though sometimes they're nice about it and offer you a $30 rebate to the $300 970. 😛

It's not their fault, that's the market/manufacturer's price. Besides, given the high price tag and unavailability of 1070, why not... Come black Friday, they will pay you but a 970 😀
